This Grandis Special was built in 1986 in Verona, Italy. At this time the workshop of Grandis is one of the top level italian frame building shops. The bikes are extremely well made in design, quality and workmanship. They used worked investment cast lugs, a beautiful engraved head tube and seat stay caps. It has a semi sloping and also engraved fork crown and short vertical rear drop outs. The frame uses the curved brake bridge which is as a trademark to Grandis bikes.
The bike is built with a complete Campagnolo Croce d'Aune group from 1987, a pantographed 3ttt stem and 3ttt handle bars, a new hand built wheelset with Challenge tubualars and a new Concor saddle.
It is restored to perfection including new chrome and paint work, carefully refurbished to the tiniest screw and its last bearing.
