Karl-Heinz Lüders was probably Berlin's best know frame builder. He had his workshop located in former West-Berlin's district of Charlottenburg. It wasn't unusual to wait a year or more to get one of his builds. Sometimes he simply refuses a request when customers didn't accept his idea about frame geometrie. Even Merckx should have left the workshop with out one, just to come back a week later to accept Lüders' design. Among all sorts of local cyclists: professionals, semi-professionals or amateurs, his work was highly admired.
A true master framebuilder.

Lüders ‘Profi‘ with the serial #CR11 71198 is in NOS condition and has never been used/ridden before. The frameset is handbuild in Berlin Charlottenburg by framebuilder Karl-Heinz “Kalle” Lüders. Made of Reynolds 531c tubes. According to a thread at rennrad-news.de the serial refers like this: ‘C’ for Campagnolo equipped (an ‘S’ would be for Shimano DA), ‘R’ for Reynolds ’11’ means all tubes were made of Reynolds ( ‘3’ would mean only the main tubes). The last two digits should refer to the year of manufacturing, so 1998.
NOS – New old stock, never used.
The frameset is NOS and we guarantee that it’s free of dents, rust or other structural damages. Furthermore all mounted parts are in NOS condition as well. The bicycle however can show minor signs of shelfwear due to age and storage.
No VAT (differential taxation) for pre-owend (used/NOS) parts.
