Coincidentally we found one of Uwe Trömers pursuit frames at the barnyard of an old team mechanic. Uwe used this frame in 1982.
With the frame, we got the original handle bars marked “Trömer”, the Cinelli stem and a super light and slim 24” front wheel with the hand made aero spokes and the special Textima rim made from magnesium alloy. Also included the machined right crank arm only.
Uwe remembered the frame originally had the classic Textima silver and we repainted it that way. A little challenge was the missing left crank arm that we shaped out of an standard Pista arm.
Frame number is 947/7.
The bike is now owned by a collector near Chemnitz, Germany.
